I am looking forward to a fun weekend with Mike and our friends– we’ve been counting down the days for this trip for months and it’s finally here! I haven’t been to Chicago in years and it’s Mike’s first time there so we’re going to a little bit of sightseeing and then we have a fun dinner reservation (why we planned the trip) tonight!

Hill House Pajamas (c/o) + Glasses
Here’s what was on my radar this week:
ONE // Throwing a Martha Stewart Party
I absolutely loved this video where someone threw a party from Martha Stewart’s Entertaining book (which is being rereleased!) and it’s so perfectly over the top in the best way. I love that she did it nearly to a t. It’s probably more than I can mentally handle (I am no Martha!), but I would like to try this sometime with a few shortcuts.
TWO // Sharland England Collection for Crate & Kids
How adorable is this collaboration between Sharland England by Louise Roe and Crate & Kids?! Some of it is a little too girly for the boys’ room, but I had to get this table and matching chairs for the playroom. Absolutely darling and will be perfect to pull up to our dining room when we have little guests over for playdates and meals.
THREE // Brooke Eby for The Cut
Brooke Eby is one of my favorite follows on TikTok. I find her not only inspiring, but also hysterical (and she has some of the best hair on the app!). The Cut just did a big profile on her and I am so glad they did. Her journey with ALS has been heartbreaking and I hope she continues to bring even more awareness around it to hopefully find a cure someday.
FOUR // Scholastic TV
We are always looking for good, entertaining shows for Jack to watch. Honestly we don’t really limit screen time because we mostly spend a lot of time outside. (Sometimes I beg him to come in so I can sit down for a minute ). But I feel like it never hurts to have some pre-vetted shows up our sleeves. I was excited to see that Scholastic came out with its own channel streaming great, educational shows... including some of my own favorites from childhood.
FIVE // DIY Library Stamp
I am TOTALLY stealing this idea for a linocut stamp for our family’s library. This one is so freaking cute, I can hardly stand it. (Also thinking of all different applications… like one for gift tags? One for paper bags for lunch?! The opportunities are endless!!)
