Had such a good week with the boys– especially this weekend. Getting out with both boys by myself was a major goal of mine and I have to say, I’m so glad I was on top of this fear from the beginning. I’m sitting down now to type this and realizing that I don’t even think twice about getting out and about with both. Mike was out of town for the weekend so the boys and I had ourselves a time! We went out to breakfast, played at the park, went to a train exhibit at a local museum. On Sunday, I took them to the gym with me (Rory’s first time!) so I could get a little workout– and quiet time for myself– in and then we went to the movie theater (Jack’s first time!). We spent the rest of the day playing outside at home. Honestly, it was so fun and it felt like pure childhood magic. I was so tired that I slept until my “backup alarm” went off on Monday morning Worth it though!
LAST WEEK’S WIN // All of the above. Surviving. Thriving. Everything in between. Sometimes I don’t know how anything will get done or how we’ll get to the next nap time and then we do! I keep kind of looking around thinking, “We’re doing this? Are we doing this? We’re doing this!”
