Another week of outfits and for the first time in a while, I actually love them all. Maybe it’s that the days are getting longer (I cannot wait to “spring forward” this week) or the warm weather we’ve had. But getting dressed in the morning feels a little more manageable.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Mike and I had a proper date night! It feels like just yesterday that I was babysitting my next door neighbors’ son and now I’m the one having our teenage neighbor come over to watch Jack. Feels so weird and cool. Felt so good to get dressed and get out! We ubered, had cocktails, got dessert, had a cup of coffee. And then ubered home.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: We’re heading down to Charleston and then to Tampa. Lots of fun things coming up. I cannot wait for the book signing at Lake Pajamas– this Thursday in Charleston (6-8pm) and I hope to meet a few of you there! Then I’m really looking forward to seeing my family again down in Florida. Kind of nervous about all the flying and driving that’s involved in this trip– but it should be more than worth it.

TUESDAY
Confession, I didn’t actually wear this on Tuesday. We had swim class and then I took these photos in the afternoon.
WEDNESDAY
We had a nice day at home and then Mike’s dad came for dinner and spent the night. So special to me that Jack gets to see so much family.

THURSDAY
Thursday was pretty run of the mill– I was kind of exhausted from a teething baby, but just tried to make the most of the day.
FRIDAY
Jack and I drove into Hoboken for lunch with my sister in law. It was nice to spend the afternoon there and hit up some of my favorite old spots that I really miss. Burgers at Onieals, lattes from Choc o Pain.
SATURDAY
I had brunch with a friend in the morning. We went to a local bar for a little lunch. And then Mike went out for dinner. Have I mentioned how good it feels to get out and about again.
SUNDAY
I worked all morning and then it was so nice out that I had to put everything away and get outside. Jack and I went for a super, super long walk and it felt amazing! Seriously got me excited for summer months…. countdown is on.

MONDAY
We did a little gym class in the morning and took advantage of the warm weather with another walk with Elsa. We hadn’t seen each other in a few weeks because we had both been traveling. Missed her!
