Tortoiseshell has always felt timeless to me, but it’s been on my radar even more so this fall! I love the warmth it brings to an outfit or space, and how it instantly makes things feel a little more elevated. There’s just something about those rich browns and gold-flecked neutrals that feels cozy and classic at the same time.
When I was looking for a new phone case last month, this tortoiseshell one immediately caught my eye. It’s so chic and feels perfectly seasonal without being too on-the-nose. I’ve also been reaching for these tortoiseshell glasses lately. The shape is flattering, and makes me feel polished, even on a loungewear day.
On the home front, I found the most beautiful glass candle lamp that gives off the coziest glow. And I can’t get over this acrylic tray. It would look great styled on a living room coffee table. I bought tortoiseshell spoons on eBay on a whim a few years ago and they make me feel like I’m in my own little at-home cafe each time I use them. I still get questions about them, so I was very excited to find these similar piccolo spoons. And while we’re at it, these cocktail glasses would be so fun for fall entertaining.
I’ve also been eyeing a few tortoiseshell jewelry pieces. I love the mix of pearls and tortoiseshell in this heart necklace and these simple stud earrings are subtle enough to wear every day but still make a little statement. Tortoiseshell hair accessories are having a moment and I love this set of hair clips and headband. It’s an easy way to elevate your hairstyle and can really tie together an outfit.
Lastly, this Bordeaux bag is such a unique piece and would pair beautifully with neutrals, burgundy, and navy this fall. The same goes for these slingback flats… how chic!
