I used to think friendships would naturally fall into place after becoming a mom. But between sleepless nights, unpredictable schedules, and the constant emotional load of caring for little ones, it’s surprisingly hard to build new relationships. I didn’t realize how much I needed “mom friends” until I met women who understood instantly—no explanations, no guilt, no judgment.

Mom friends are the ones who say “same here” instead of offering unsolicited advice. They celebrate the wins, share the chaos, and make you feel less alone in the mess of it all. I found mine through local meetups, preschool drop-offs, and a few brave conversations at the park. It takes courage to say hello, but the support and laughter that can follow are absolutely worth it.
