SEWING PATTERNS

I dusted off my sewing machine and spent a weekend making these two things for my friend’s daughters. Honestly… I was rusty. I only sewed one thing in 2021 and it took me a minute to get back into the swing of things. It also took me so much longer because I was working in short chunks during Jack’s naps and when he went down for sleep at night. These aren’t perfect, but I absolutely love how they turned out and it is inspiring me to get back behind my sewing machine.

(My next “big” task is to clean out our basement. Right now it’s turned into a dumping ground for storage and I am going to spruce it up. Going to turn most of the finished space into a play area, but I want to set up a table in there too so I can have my machine out. I think that will help motivate me to work on projects.)
