Ahhhh! Labor Day weekend is finally here! I booked a weekend trip for myself back in February and I actually can’t believe it’s finally here. I’m really looking forward to it and the weather looks so perfect for a chill solo weekend in the country. Originally I assumed I’d be hanging out by the pool but now I’m excited to pack a few sweatshirts and sweaters… Dinner reservations and spa treatments have all been booked
Here’s what’s been on my radar this week:
ONE // Jacquard Bow Dress
This dress just screams me!!! I love the green and I love the bows. It feels so old school. I immediately placed an order when I saw it in the new arrivals section. It’ll be a perfect fall transition dress with the sleeveless silhouette… perfect for those still-warm fall days we typically have. I think it’ll be cute with boots for a daytime look and heels for a night out.
TWO // Play-Doh Halloween “Treats”
The boys’ doesn’t allow candy for Halloween, which I really appreciate, but they do do a little Halloween exchange. I came across this pack of Play-Doh absolutely perfect for school trick or treating. (I’m also sure my future self is going to be glad this is already ordered and taken care of when October rolls around!)
THREE // Halloween Kids Pajamas
Jeez– the kids haven’t even officially gone back to school and I’m already thinking Halloween, clearly. Kind of hate it, kind of love it?!?! Either way, I plan to scoop up these Halloween pajamas for the boys. I love this year’s gender neutral design and colorway. Feels very classic, timeless Halloween. FOUR // Taylor Swift Announcements
Of course something majorly on my radar this week was Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement (!!!) but really I’ve been loving all the posts about the announcement. This all girls school getting on the intercom to make the announcement because the students don’t have their phones in class?! Obsessed!! I can only imagine the reactions inside of the classrooms.
FIVE // Doen Charleston Dress
This dress is one of my very favorites from Doen. I think it was actually my first dress from Doen back in 2020. I’ve worn it countless times, including on our honeymoon and as a guest at a Colorado wedding. It’s such a versatile dress. Really loving this new floral print– especially how a pop of cranberry looks against it or even light blue. Gorgeous.
