This week was… a week. It’s definitely still very much a rollercoaster. In someways it’s crazy how routine and “normal” life feels right now. (As in, we’ve really settled into this new normal.) But on the other hand, I think I spent some time this week grieving the old normal. Just a lot on my mind trying to figure out the future but also just being okay (or trying to be okay) with not knowing it. I like to HAVE A PLAN™️ and right now, the plan is no plan which isn’t sitting well with me.
In the meantime I am heavily distracting myself with sewing projects, practicing my photography, writing a book, needlepointing, and reading when I’m not working. Great distractions and they keep me more “in the moment.”

My dress (c/o, available in sizes 0-24x!)
Here’s what was on my radar this week:
ONE // Cozy Striped Sweater
I’m always on the hunt for good “summer sweaters.” As much as I love a good summer dress, I know realistically I spend a lot of time wearing sweaters during the summer too. This striped one is extra cute– loving the length, the swing, and the buttons!
TWO // Summer Reading List
Oh, I used to hate summer reading in school, but I love it as an adult. Beachy, light reads with no test to study for? Count me in!!! Love this round up by Jessica from How Sweet Eats.
THREE // New Bath Towels
I’ve been perfectly happy with our towels. In fact, if you had asked me last week, I would have said they were fantastic. Then I got these (on sale through the weekend) and realized what I was missing out on. They are fantastic. The only way to describe them is “plush”– and they’re super absorbent. I’ve already washed them twice and they still feel just as soft. (I hate when towels feel great new and then feel plain after only one wash.) Anyway, highly recommend. I’m ordering more for our guest bath.
FOUR // Loft’s New Arrivals
If you’re in the market for some new summer-y clothes, check out Loft’s new arrivals. So many cute things, especially all the blue and white!
FIVE // Masks Are an Act of Kindness
Dan Levy put out a great PSA on his Instagram. I loved how he reframed wearing masks as an act of kindness.
