On My Radar

After a very relaxing break, it’s been nice to get back into the swing of things. The best part is that the blogging world (agencies, managers, etc.) basically shuts down too so I came back to a fairly manageable inbox. I’m going to be tackling my bookkeeping/taxes for 2019 today; usually, I dread this task, but I’m looking forward to being done with it!!

Couldn’t resist starting this champagne canvas in time for NYE!

Here’s what was on my radar this week:

ONE // First Look at the New Lizzie McGuire

Ahhhh! I cannot wait for the new Lizzie McGuire series. It was one of my favorite shows back in the day and I’m really curious to see how they’ll depict her life as an adult. I did watch the show Younger and liked to pretend that Hilary’s character Kelsey was Lizzie, ha ha! Disney+ just released a very short teaser of movies/series coming to the platform this year, including a very brief cameo of Lizzie McGuire. Need more!!!!

TWO // Chick-Fil-A Copycat

We stayed in for New Years and made Chick-Fil-A copycat chicken sandwiches for dinner. It was amazing. I ate way, way more than I should have and went to bed feeling downright stuffed. Worth it though. The sauce was also excellent. Someone asked me if the sauce tasted the same and I’ve actually never had the real CFA sauce before, so I have no idea… but it was delicious nonetheless.

THREE // Lodge Coat

I’m re-sharing this coat because it’s been my very favorite this winter. It had been pretty low in stock over the holidays due to the various sales, but I’m happy to report that more inventory is available. I think this is the best wool coat I’ve ever purchased because it’s genuinely warm. Not sleeping-bag-parka-level, but it really gets the job done because the inner body is quilted and the sleeves and collar have cuffs to keep the cold out.

FOUR // How to Stop Being Lazy

Anyone else looking to be more productive and less lazy this year? I’ve gotten better about my productivity over the years, but I’m always looking for new strategies. This is one of my favorite blogs to read and I was going through the archives for some helpful tips for the new year. This post is great because it’s really about being productive at work without losing out on life. I definitely spent the better half of my twenties burning the candle at both ends and feeling lousy because of it. I’m really focused on introducing healthier work habits into my life and already feel like I’m more productive AND happier at the end of the day.

FIVE // 60 Lunch Ideas

I shared yesterday that one of my goals for 2020 was to make lunch at home. I pinned this post to reference later and figured I’d share it here in case other people also have the same goal. (Slash, who doesn’t need some inspo for healthy lunches?!)
