On My Radar

This was the first “real” week of 2019 and if it’s any indication of how the rest of the year is going to go, I’m feeling pretty good.

I started BBG back up again and spent the better part of the week hobbling around from soreness. I got back into the groove shooting content (on my own + with a photographer) after being “out of practice” for a few weeks. My inbox is looking pretty good and I’m making headway on some of the first projects of 2019. The apartment is clean and organized! Yes, I’m all about a nice clean slate.

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // The Tipping Point

Remember my post about The Tipping Point last year? I’m starting to see even more conversations about it. I particularly liked Studio DIY’s reflection on building a life she didn’t want. I have a feeling a lot of people can relate to this, regardless of what industry you’re in. Sometimes you have these big dreams and goals and when you get to the finish line, you realize it’s actually not what you want. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

TWO // Ralph’s Coffee

I dearly miss the original Ralph’s Coffee on Fifth Ave, but I can’t wait to check out their new location on the Upper East Side. (Why couldn’t it have been there when I lived there?!?) I was searching for something on Ralph Lauren’s website and stumbled on an entire section of Ralph’s Coffee goodies, including the gorgeous dishes.

THREE // Boden

Boden has been on my radar for a while, but their collection right now is great. Tons of basics and classic pieces. I like that it’s not very trendy and if there’s something missing from your closet (like a cardigan) it could be the place to look. Reminds me of mid-2000s J. Crew, like how cute is this tweed coat!

FOUR // Bobbi Brown’s Podcast

I’m a huge fan of Bobbi Brown. I couldn’t believe I missed the news that she started a podcast called Long Story Short. In each episode, she interviews influential and successful people about how they got started and pivotal moments in their life. My friend Carolyn told me about it and I have been savoring each episode!!

FIVE // Lambing Season

If you’re not already following Five Mary’s Farm, now would be a great time. They’re in the middle of lambing season and it’s just about the cutest thing ever. I love seeing the newborn lambs on her story.

a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
