ON MY RADAR 10.3.25

It’s October 3rd. I’m pre-writing this post, but I’m so excited for Taylor Swift’s new album and a good October weekend ahead and my biopsy being behind me. Oh and a fresh haircut?! Okay, I’ll take it! I fully decorated the house for Halloween and it feels so festive. Jack came home from school and almost fell over he was so excited to see all the pumpkins everywhere. There’s something SO magical about four year olds and oh-my-gosh Rory “catching” Jack’s enthusiasm is the best.

My outfit!

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Barrel Jeans

I actually cannot believe how much I love a barrel jean silhouette. I did not see this coming… but I’m not mad about it. There is a line for me though on what’s too intense. I like a more subtle pair. I’m tempted to try this pair. I love the wash and I really love how there are no extraneous seams. Also love the price

TWO // Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough Bread

If you’re also in your sourdough era, you need to make this pumpkin cinnamon swirl sourdough bread. It’s incredible. The actual bread schedule is a little different from what I do for my normal loaf, so I’ve been experimenting with timing. (Our house has also gone from warm to cold with some fluctuating temperatures, which makes bread making a real challenge.) This bread is absolutely divine. The only downside is that you won’t be able to stop eating it…. you’ve been warned!

THREE // Gilmore Girls x Lingua Franca

OMG. Gilmore Girls paired with Lingua Franca is everything. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls, they’ve teamed up with Lingua Franca for iconic sweaters. The Chilton patch cardigan?!? WHAT!!! Life’s Short, Talk Fast sweater?! I cannot handle it.

FOUR // Reading Rainbow Returns

What wonderful news. Especially as PBS faces huge funding cuts from the federal government. We needed a little slice of happy news. My sister and I loved Reading Rainbow as kids and I am so excited to see that it’s coming back. I think Jack is really going to love it too.

FIVE // City Hotel Advent Calendar

I have been thinking about investing in an advent calendar that our family would have forever and ever. It’s kind of a lot of pressure though. This one feels so sweet and timeless. I don’t want something that will feel 2025. Selfishly I love how this one is giving dollhouse. I also am really loving this gingerbread one too– I like how long it is. Would be perfect on a fireplace mantle.

a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
