I had a really nice week and I’m very much looking forward to this weekend. Looks like another great few days of weather– perfect for fall activities with the boys. I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the month. We’ve been trying to get through our October family bucket list. I have a feeling more pumpkins are in our future…

Here’s what was on my radar this week:
ONE // Perfect Cashmere Cableknit
Hallelujah! J. Crew brought back cableknit this fall. It’s not always a guarantee and it’s always the best when they do. The best part is that this year, they’re not cropped! Again… hallelujah! I ordered the red for the holidays and when I figure out how it fits, I might order another color.
TWO // 65 Essential Children’s Books
Children’s books are one of my biggest passions. I could spend hours in the library picking out new books every week. I love these classics and new classics. Will be keeping this list with me for my next library trip. A lot of them I already know, some I completely forgot about from my own childhood, and others were completely new to me.
THREE // Vera Bradley x Anthropologie
Ummm we need to discuss this collaboration between Vera Bradley and Anthropologie. Absolutely iconic. The mistletoe patchwork especially is so good. I really can’t get enough of it.
FOUR // The Invisible & Emotional Labor of Children’s Clothes
I thought there was something wrong with me with how much I think about my kids clothes. I try to keep a pretty tight wardrobe for the boys and even still it’s constantly on my mind trying to keep everything organized, the right sizes, etc. Well, I’m very relieved to know that it’s not just me. Whew. This is really something I didn’t imagine about motherhood!
FIVE // Barbour Guide
Tuckernuck’s annual Barbour guide is here and it’s better than ever. No really, I’m obsessed. Even if you’re not shopping for a new Barbour jacket, I always love looking at their guides for outfit inspiration. This year, they’re featuring various New Yorkers with unique style and perspective for their take on the Barbour classics.
