MY IDEAL BATH SET UP

One of the best things we did when we renovated our upstairs bathroom was add a good tub. I love baths so much and take one as often as I can. Now that we have a true soaking tub, I find myself craving it at the end of a long day. Once the boys are finally in bed, the house is tidied up, and my work is wrapped for the night, if I have ten or thirty or even sixty minutes to spare, I try to sneak in a bath to unwind just a little more.

Sometimes I scroll on my phone, sometimes I bring my book or Kindle, and sometimes I just sit and stare at the wall, decompressing. Besides hot water (I would never voluntarily do any kind of cold plunge, haha), you really don’t need anything else. But I do love to elevate the experience with a few favorite products depending on my mood.

LAVENDER FOAMING BATH // When I want a proper, fluffy bubble bath, this is the product I reach for. I’ve used it for years and it’s still a top favorite of mine. It’s a classic you can’t go wrong with… perfect lavender scent and bubbles up beautifully every time.

DREAM BATH SOAK // I love this bath soak for when I want to truly unwind. It smells heavenly, and maybe it’s a placebo effect, but I instantly feel calmer the moment I dip into the tub. After the first use, I knew it would be an instant “repurchase.”

BREATHE PEBBLES // These bath pebbles turn my bath into a spa-like experience. I love eucalyptus for relaxing. You can even use them in the shower! They melt slowly in hot water, but sometimes I rub a pebble directly onto my skin for extra-moisturized legs.

EPSON SALT // This isn’t the most luxurious item on the list, but it’s super affordable and perfect for recovery baths. Almost every time I come home from tap class, I need a bath. My muscles are usually sore from dancing and whatever workout I did that day, and I’m also hyped up from the music and movement. I generously dump the salts into the tub and let them work their magic.

Would love to know your favorite products!
