December is one of my favorite months to dress for. There’s just something so festive about the month and the cold air still feels exciting not miserable (yet). I partnered with Nordstrom for this post and it may be my favorite holiday look yet.
I love that this look is a little bit elevated. It’s somewhere between “festive sweater” and “fancy party attire.” I wore this to run a few errands in Greenwich last week, but I really wanted to head into the city and go ice skating in Central Park!

I should have taken a photo with my coat off (it was too cold honestly!) to show you the all black look I have on underneath. All black can be hard to pull off, for me at least, but I’m really into this combination. The sweater is cashmere so it’s incredibly soft… but it has an unexpectedly low price. And even lower right now since it’s on sale. It looks great with jeans as well, but I paired it with these faux leather leggings.
I’m obsessed with these pants. While they’re as comfortable as a pair of leggings, they look a bit fancier. (They run a little big if you order… I typically wear a small in leggings and got the XS.)

And this coat (on sale)! How fun is it? It’s super cozy and has an incredibly forgiving shape and fit.

While the coat is a real stunner in the post, it’s the beret that I think got me the most excited. I started eyeing them this fall and finally just went for it!

One of our stops was to McArdle’s in Greenwich. If you live in the area and haven’t visited yet, you must. It’s a winter wonderland. I wanted everything, especially the wall of wreaths. I wish I had stopped by to pick out ornaments earlier but settled for the cutest arrangement of December-appropriate greens and reds with a few magnolia leaves thrown in for good measure.
