So apparently I have a social life now?? I am emerging from my winter hibernation, and my calendar is filling up with weekly mahjong nights, dinner and drinks with friends, parties, and popping over to the city for events. A few weeks ago, I had a fun little girls night at a local restaurant and we quite literally shut down the restaurant at 10pm, ha! I don’t know who I think I am because I am such a homebody, but I’m actually in the mood to go out and it feels good!
Now that I’m in a socializing groove, I need things to wear after bedtime that are appropriate for the evening but still comfortable as a mom! I went down a rabbit hole looking for cute going out tops that are 35-year-old appropriate and found a lot of great ones I wanted to share!
While it’s still a little cooler, this off-the-shoulder knit top and white pointelle cardigan would be the perfect evening top! They feel fun but not overdone and would look cute styled with jeans and a low heel. I’ve been adding more yellow and orange to my spring wardrobe, and this silk dupioni tangerine top would be so cute for a mahjong night! I also love this pintuck ruffle puff sleeve top, which feels very Doen-esque but for under $100 and comes in black and white.
