I was so honored that Julia asked me to be in the Gal Meet Glam Collection holiday campaign. It was such a fun, whirlwind experience and I love the way everything turned out. I have lived in or near (I have the complete tri-state area under my belt, lol) New York City since graduating college, yet there’s always new corners of the city to discover. It was fun to play tourist and visit spots that I already love and new-to-me places.

Julia had given me a sneak peek of her vision for the shoot, but I more or less came in green. I have to admit that it was such a relaxing shoot for me because a) I was with my best friend and b) it wasn’t my shoot to plan. The only “stressful” part was having to pose next to someone as gorgeous as Julia and having to twirl, which is not in my wheelhouse.
I have always respected Julia and Thomas for what they’re able to accomplish together, and this shoot was no exception. Again, it was an honor to be included.

The dresses are made for holiday parties! As usual, it’s so hard to pick a favorite. But….. I think the Carmen in ruby (the red jumpsuit) might just be it. I also love the girly take on the tuxedo that Julia is wearing.
(I had a ton of questions about the shoes… They’re Prada and I wish I could say they were mine, but I borrowed them from Julia. If they’re outside of your budget too, I found these bow flats, these bow slingbacks, and these bow peep toe pumps… all under $100.)

When you need a little sequin in your life, these dresses have you covered. I love that they’re more pastel and sweet. I’m wearing the Dee and Julia is wearing the Beatrix.

I love the silhouettes on both of these dresses. I usually steer clear of light pink, but as I’ve mentioned before, Gal Meets Glam is changing my mind.
I’m wearing the Mary and Julia is wearing the Adair.

The Carmen comes in both ruby and petunia. Should you match with your bestie? I say absolutely, go for it!

This was also right up there with my favorites… the pink is so fun and bold! I’m wearing the Kennedy and Julia is wearing the Felicity (those bows!).

These two dresses are gorgeous in person. I love the rose print on mine (the Sadie) and the way it swings and twirled; it’s not as structured and falls so nicely over curves! Julia is wearing the Kimberly and it might just be the perfect Little Black Dress.

These two are showstoppers!!!! The Jessica (what I’m wearing) fits like a glove and the bow details on the sleeve seals the deal. Julia is wearing the Cora.

And the Annabelle comes in two colorways, a pink on pink and red on red. Beautifully structured, they are like little holiday cupcake dresses, in the best way possible.

Let me know what you guys think of it all and if you’re going to splurge on one for your holiday parties!
