When I was in middle school, my sister and I got matching luggage sets from Roxy with brown and pink hibiscus print. We were obsessed. (And I think a piece or two from the collection is somewhere in my sister’s closet… I know we had a train case for a while!) The luggage was absolutely impractical, but I dutifully lugged it all throughout Italy on a class trip dragging it (and carrying it when necessary) all over the cobblestone streets. I think because that print is burned into my memory, I have been hesitant to return to the color combination. But with gorgeous espresso hues trending everywhere… and beautiful, bright pinks popping up… I’m kind of feeling the color story again, but maybe in a more grown up way.
Plus posting this on Valentine’s Day made me think of chocolate dipped strawberries!
