I get so much wear out of cardigan sweaters, especially this time of year. They’re the perfect transitional piece… cozy, easy to layer, and just as cute draped over your shoulders as they are buttoned up. I wear them as tops, over dresses, or tossed casually over a tee and jeans. Truly, they might be the most versatile sweaters in my closet!
I just got this chocolate cashmere cardigan sweater , and the rich brown shade is gorgeous for fall. It’s lightweight but warm and one of those pieces that pairs just as easily with denim as it does with a dress. The Edie Fair Isle cardigan might be my favorite of the bunch. I love the pop of color and its nostalgic, preppy charm. I’ve been wearing it with the matching vest, jeans, and blush ballet flats. This green Fair Isle cardigan also caught my eye. It feels just festive enough to wear into the holidays without feeling overly seasonal to wear through the rest of fall and winter.
For something a little more feminine, the scallop collar cardigan and jewel button cardigan are both so sweet. The scalloped collar adds a subtle vintage touch, and the jeweled buttons are perfect for the holidays. Both would be so cute styled with a skirt and tights or wide-leg jeans for an everyday outfit.
I’m also loving the knit striped cardigan sweater and the bubble hem cardigan. The tailored stripe feels crisp and polished, while the bubble hem gives a fresh, slightly playful shape that still feels refined. And finally, the ivory cardigan and mocha cable knit cardigan are timeless pieces you can’t go wrong with. Both are the kind of sweaters you’ll keep in rotation for years!
