BEST CARDIGANS FOR FALL

love cardigans, especially in my fall wardrobe. They’re so versatile, and nowadays I usually wear them buttoned all the way up or draped over my shoulders. I definitely have my favorites, like this one and this one, that I pull out once the weather cools down. For this roundup of the best cardigans for fall, though, I wanted to share some less simple options that have caught my eye recently. Scallops and bows and collars, oh my!!

Crochet Trim Cardigan // Knit Bow Cardigan // Short Puff Sleeve Cardigan

Collar Cardigan // Pearl Trim Cardigan // Embellished Cardigan

Velvet Bow Cardigan // Ruffled Collar Cardigan // Scalloped Pointelle Cardigan

Crochet Trim Cardigan // The trim, the buttons! This couldn’t be more classic. I really love the navy but it’s quickly selling out…and rightfully so! The short sleeve is also perfect for that transitional period between summer and fall.

Knit Bow Cardigan // These. Bows. OMG! They make such a statement, but at the same time, you could definitely wear this casually. I’m obsessed. It comes in black too, but I’d love it in all neutral colors.

Short Puff Sleeve Cardigan // I LOVE a cashmere sweater– it makes for the best fall cardigans. The short puff sleeves are darling, but unsurprisingly, the scalloped trim is my personal favorite detail.

Collar Cardigan // This is a great green– not too light, not too dark. Juuust right. This isn’t an oversized sweater but it has a relaxed fit and looks vintage and/or homemade in the very best way!

Pearl Trim Cardigan // I know I included this on my roundup of the best *fall* cardigans, but I think this is one you can buy now and pull out for holiday parties later. The pearl trim is exactly my kind of fun!

Embellished Cardigan // I don’t gravitate toward embellishments like beads very often, but how could I scroll past this?! What a fun pop of color during a season that’s typically full of jewel tones.

Bow Cardigan // I had to, right?! The oversized velvet bows are just too cute and I love how you can dress the cardigan up or down.

Ruffled Collar Cardigan // Another collar! I didn’t know it was possible for ruffles to look cozy, but these definitely do.

Scalloped Pointelle Cardigan // I simply cannot resist scallops. And with the pointelle? Darling! It also comes in a pretty ivory, plus petite sizes.
