I bought this dress before I got engaged but now that I have it, I’m loving it even more. I’m not sure if Mike and I are planning on doing engagement photos or not, but if we do, this dress is a top contender for wardrobe. I really wish I were at the beach wearing it… barefoot… skirt billowing out in an ocean breeze For now, my backyard will do!!

When I first saw this dress online, I assumed it was more of a shirtdress. It’s actually more of a boho maxi dress that belts at the waist. Since boho is one of the last words I’d use to describe my style, I like the structure of this and the belt makes it feel more “me.” It’s a 10/10 on the comfort scale… the fabric is incredibly lightweight which I’ve been loving on these absurdly hot summer days.
And there are pockets. (That’s all you really need to know, right?)
