Is it just me or has J.Crew Factory been killing it recently? They’ve had a ton of super inexpensive winners like this scalloped active skort and so many more I linked below. It inspired me to look through a few of my other go-to affordable clothing brands too, leading to this pretty sizable roundup of affordable fashion under $50. Just in time for a spring and summer wardrobe refresh!
Affordable Fashion Under $50

Striped Tank // including a blue and white stripe and a pretty green apple-looking color! If this version is too cropped for you, there’s a very similar one from a different retailer that comes in even more colors.
Pearl Huggies // Jewelry like this is right up my alley: simple, classic, and versatile. It’s worth noting that the hoops are plated in gold vermeil, so they’ll actually last a lot longer than traditional costume jewelry.
Eyelet Shirtdress // The shirtdress will never go out of style, and eyelet is a warm weather staple. There are three other beautiful colors that cost closer to $60, but that’s still a great deal in my opinion.
Cable Knit Shell // With the right styling, I think you can channel some serious Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy vibes with this. The knit looks thin enough to wear in the spring and summer.
Lady Jacket Cardigan // I’ve never met a lady jacket I didn’t like! J.Crew and J.Crew Factory have come out with SO MANY iterations– personally, I hope they keep it up.
Two-Piece Set // I already own this in navy, but I’m eyeing it in blue now too. It’s such an easy “throw on and go” option to keep in your arsenal, and the buttons on the back are the perfect finishing touch.
Gingham Bucket Hat // Bucket hats typically aren’t flattering on me, but I do own one by J.Crew that I love. I’m tempted to give this one a try. The gingham is darling!
Scalloped Shift Dress // Who else remembers the original from J.Crew?! The trends always come back around and I’d be remiss not to include this updated version.
Pleated Shorts // I LIVED in chino shorts for at least solid decade, so it was fun to see this chic update pop up. (FYI, you can still buy the classic 3.5″ shorts and 5″ shorts on Factory too!)
Button Front Dress // Anything nursing friendly, like this linen button front dress, is on my radar right now. Frankly I’m surprised by how well-priced this is based on the reviews. They have five other colors, plus a blue pinstripe that’s calling my name.
Gold Huggies // Another pair of earrings made of gold vermeil, these are the kind of huggies you can wear every day.
Saddle Bag // I think everyone can use a good crossbody, and this one fits the bill. I’d love to see it in a nice cognac color as well.
Flower Studs // I don’t buy a lot of costume jewelry anymore but these petite studs are just too cute! I like the mix of materials.
Woven Slides // Between walking to and from school, taking Teddy out, and spending time in the yard with the boys, I’m going in and out of the house a lot. Slides like these are especially nice to have on deck when my hands are full!
