As luck would have it, around mid-December I ran out of a lot of my beauty products. I was scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to get every last drop of moisturizer and conditioner out and then moved onto to some travel-sized samples that I had. But once I was back from visiting my parents, I set out to restock everything.
Honestly, I loved that it was perfect timing for a clean start. I loved a lot of the things I was using, but used this as an opportunity to try some new things out. I’m such a creature of habit that I tend to not deviate at all once I find something that works for me, but I’m trying to be more open minded and giving over things a shot. Whether it’s going to a new restaurant, trying a new item off a menu even though I usually order the exact same thing every time, or (in this case) giving some new products a shot.
(It doesn’t hurt that everything just looks so aesthetically pleasing too.)
So far, I’m loving everything and I needed to share.

HAIR:
Ouai Anti-Dandruff Shampoo + Ouai Conditioner For Medium Hair
I am loving this shampoo and conditioner combo. They both smell so nice and they have my hair looking so smooth. The conditioner has a little bit more “weight” than I’m used to but it’s making my hair look so much more “styled” after I blow dry. Like I just left a hairdresser who put in fantastic styling product. Truly, my hair looks so smooth and clean and hydrated, even in the dead of winter when I usually get extra dry and staticky.
(plus my old faithfuls: Necessaire Body Wash, Necessaire Body Exfoliator + Fresh Soy Face Cleanser)
FACE:
Whipped Cream + Hydration Serum + Facial Oil
Clearly influenced by TikTok here, I bought a few Drunk Elephant products and my skin has, dare I say it, never looked better. This is hands down the time of year when my skin acts out the worst. Not only does my face get dry and dull, but I also have a serious issue of increased sensitivity from windburn and cold temperatures. So far, I’ve had none of that and I wake up looking dewy! Still look incredibly pale from, well, winter, but at least it’s a hydrated pale!
