Cozy Cardigan + Straight-Leg Denim

Some days call for the easiest outfit possible, and today’s uniform checked every box: a soft, oversized cardigan layered over a simple tee, paired with straight-leg denim I’ve worn at least a dozen times this month.

Some days call for the easiest outfit possible, and today’s uniform checked every box: a soft, oversized cardigan layered over a simple tee, paired with straight-leg denim I’ve worn at least a dozen times this month. It’s comfy enough for errands and school pickup, but polished enough that I don’t feel like I just grabbed the first thing off the floor—even if I did. A neutral cardigan also makes it feel intentional, even on a rushed morning.

The magic is in the details: gold hoop earrings, my go-to sneakers, and a slick ponytail to balance the relaxed fit. When I find a combo that feels this effortless, I stick with it. If you’re ever staring at your closet feeling overwhelmed, start with jeans you love and build from there. A cozy cardigan is the easiest style shortcut of the season.
