It’s easy to get stuck in a routine, especially when creativity is part of your daily life. Recently I felt a creative slump creeping in—ideas were fuzzy, and everything I wrote felt stale. So, I made a small change: I swapped screen time for hands-on hobbies. A little watercolor painting, baking something new, even organizing a closet turned out to be the spark I needed.

Sometimes inspiration isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing something different. When we give our minds space to play, creativity shows up naturally. If you’re feeling stuck too, try stepping away from the usual and follow what makes you curious. That might be exactly where your next big idea is hiding.

I jumped at the chance to go to Paris for Memorial Day weekend. Mike is in London this week so we went up a little early to spend a few days in Paris. It’s maybe not the most convenient to go over for three days (the return flight is always the worst), but I am not going to say no to Paris 😉

When we got home, I had to dig myself out of quite the hole email-wise. My inbox is typically pretty manageable throughout the summer. People are on vacation, it’s normally a slower period for campaigns, and there aren’t too many events going on and no school activities. As I worked my way through emails, my calendar started filling up. It’s exciting with a lot of fun things on the docket. After a good couple of months of rest, I’m ready for what’s to come.
