Sorry, the post is a bit late today (if you’re online around 1 am)! I’m actually in DC because I co-hosted a shopping event with Sarah Vickers at Tuckernuck last night. It has been a whirlwind of a trip. I hit the ground running the minute I stepped off the train and haven’t stopped since.
DC is my favorite city for meet and greets. So many people turned out for the night, and it was such a fun vibe, too. I also loved that so many Georgetown students were there. Made me so, so happy.

Here’s what has been on my radar:
ONE // The Benefits of Controlled Breathing
I’ve been having some issues with panic attacks again (they seem to ebb and flow) so I had to figure out something to do. Controlled breathing is incredibly helpful. I do something similar to what the article mentions; five in, hold for five, five out, two normal breaths, repeat. I kind of thought the whole thing was too good to be true, but it does work. Give it a try.
TWO // Dot Ruffle-Sleeve Dress
Banana Republic’s new arrivals are so good. I’m dying to get into a store soon to see things in person, but this dot ruffle-sleeve dress is topping my list of favorites. So. Cute.
THREE // Lilly Pulitzer + Southwest Airlines
In honor of Lilly Pulitzer’s birthday, they partnered with Southwest Airlines to surprise an entire plane with a party! I had to miss the festivities because I’m in DC, but man, I wish I could have made it!!! I saw some sneak peeks on Snapchat, but here are some great photos in case you missed it. How much fun does it look?!
FOUR // Scalloped Plaid Heels
I don’t love a lot of J. Crew’s newest arrivals (fine by my wallet!). These shoes, however, make up for the lackluster collection. They are showstoppers. Plaid and scallops.
FIVE // Kenny Holland
My sister and I were sending good links to each other over text, and she couldn’t believe I hadn’t seen this video yet. Wow. Not only are these siblings incredibly talented, they are also so incredibly sweet together. Uplifting for sure.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
