I have been writing so many to-do lists lately. If I don’t keep a record of what I have to do (even if it’s as simple are writing down what day we need to put the recycling out), I am very likely to forget. The mom brain situation is, unfortunately, real. Also unfortunately, it’s so much more practical for me right now to be keeping my to-do lists on my phone since I always have it with me.
Honestly, the practicality will trump anything for me right now. As much as I would love to have a pretty notebook, I can’t be without my lists. So…. my phone it is. But I still have that “back to school” craving for school supplies. I got stuck in after school drop-off traffic the other day and I kind of forgot it was back to school season– The first bit of September was a blur for me, but on this particular morning, there was a chill in the air and seeing all the kids with backpacks made me want to drive right to a store for a new pack of pencils, lined paper, and a notebook or two.
