I’m back from Nantucket! As usual, it was the best trip, and I was really able to take time off. I’m looking forward to getting back in the swing of things though. A vacation recap is in the works, but today I wanted to ease back into blog posts with something simple: the best Quince clothing for summer. I was reminded of them while scrolling Facebook yesterday– someone in a group I’m a part of mentioned their new arrivals, and naturally I had to take a peek. With their classic style, high quality, and affordable prices, the brand is pretty much a triple threat.
I know it’s controversial to talk about dupes, but their strategy of replicating best sellers from other brands can be hard to ignore. The fisherman boxy cropped cardigan reminds me a lot of the Jenni Kayne cotton cocoon cardigan, the smocked midi dress is a lookalike for the Hill House Ellie nap dress, my friend Kelly pointed out that the tiered maxi dress is the same as Anthropologie’s Somerset dress, and the ruched midi dress is obviously their take on Abercrombie’s Emerson dress. (How many different ways can I say “dupe”?!?!)
There are so many other effortless pieces– everything else in the roundup, really. Don’t sleep on Quince!!
