Happy Halloween!!! This is one of my favorite days of the year now that I’m a mom. My parents took the boys to a Halloween parade last weekend and I think the excitement of trick or treating really set in. (It sounds like they really discovered their love of candy… wish us luck ) It looks like the rain should clear in time for trick or treating but might be a little chilly! I don’t mind though… looking forward to a cozy, cozy night.
Here’s what was on my radar this week:
ONE // Weezie Discount Code
Weezie gave me a discount code and I wanted to share it before it expires! CARLY15 for 15% off! (I’m pretty sure it’s just for the month of October!) This would be a great time to get some personalized gifts ahead of time. While I loooove the towels, Weezie also has amazing giftable items. TWO // A Twist on the Traditional Book Club
Now this is a book club I could see myself joining: book club where everyone walks and listens to audiobooks! I love that it’s both a communal activity but also not so extroverted? A good balance! Here’s the Instagram if you want to find a club close to you, or start one in your own town!!
THREE // Faux Fur Jacket
This faux fur jacket was a major upgrade in my wardrobe last year and it’s BACK! I found myself reaching for it all the time– the perfect way to dress up an outfit (casual or fancy) when it’s chilly out. It is soooo comfortable too. It has really beautiful– and functional– clasp closures instead of buttons, which makes it feel like a vintage find.
FOUR // Ribbon Wax Seals
Who knew there were wax seal artists out there… Now I’m invested! I have actually tried doing wax seals once and messed it up so royally that I was scared to try again. But now I may need to?! These ribbon wax seals are gorgeous and would be the perfect touch on special holiday cards.
FIVE // Satin Mules
These might just be the perfect holiday party shoe! I really love a mule– they’re so comfortable and look great with jeans and dresses/skirts. I actually can’t even choose a favorite color, though the chocolate brown seems especially on trend this year.
