I’ve been having fun leaning a little more into fall fashion the past couple of weeks! Like most people, I live in jeans all season (and winter!) long, but I also appreciate the opportunity to mix it up. Enter: some really cute fall skirt outfits.

I love fall outfits with a hint of academia– they always reminds me of Gilmore Girls! This pleated mini skirt is a little on the nose, but in the best way. (A plaid mini skirt would be darling too…) The polo sweater keeps the aesthetic going, but you could also pair the denim skirt with a crisp white shirt or an oversized sweater. Now, these $35 flats: I own them in the maroon and they are amazing. Especially for the price! This cute fall skirt outfit would work well with knee-high boots too, but I’m just obsessed with the flats right now and they’ve become a surprisingly versatile staple in my fall wardrobe. This tote is $35 too, and in my opinion, looks MUCH more expensive.
In my opinion, sporty skirt outfits like this are very underrated. They’re perfect for any casual day, whether you’re going to a pumpkin patch or volunteering. The best part of this look is the polo shirt– it’s the long sleeve version of this polo that we’ve all been loving! I don’t know how Tuckernuck managed to make them look so perfectly worn in and oversized, but I’m impressed. Of course, I couldn’t resist including my favorite mini tote…it’s just the cutest thing, and if you still haven’t scooped one up yet, there’s no time like the present!!
I haven’t been wearing as many long skirts as usual lately, but this suede midi skirt? I love it. Suede is one of the biggest trends this season (more than usual!) and there are so many stylish pieces right now. My collection of cozy knits is…substantial…but this timeless staple really is the coziest!! There are a lot of rich textures in this polished look, but you could also make it feel more casual with ankle boots and a simple white t-shirt. Also, are these bold earrings not the perfect companions to the skirt?! They have the exact same subtle variation.
