Not much to report outfit-wise this week. Honestly, I had a week where I was fully in mom-mode with some crummy weather and I just needed some time in activewear and loungewear. I also had a rare week where I didn’t have to shoot or film anything for work, which felt like a gift after an intense few weeks. Our plans were largely low-key. Just hanging in the yard. Playing in our playroom. Walking around town. Most days I didn’t even put on makeup!
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Really just spending quality time with my family has been the best. Lately our summers have been super jam-packed with lots of travel. (Packing, unpacking, repacking. Rinse and repeat.) And I’m trying very hard to keep things as low key as possible. Easy outfits for the boys. Simple routines. Even if we’re traveling, I’m trying to keep the “things” to a minimum. This is at least my mindset right now and I’m hoping I’m able to execute throughout the summer months.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Speaking of which, my big goal for the week is to start our family packing list for our trip to Nantucket. We’re going for two weeks again and bringing the car, which makes packing/traveling a little easier. Just need to, like, make sure we don’t forget any essentials!! I also end up using this list for the blueprint for other trips, so it’s always worth taking the time to write it all down so it can be copied and pasted for the rest of the season.
