J. Crew always set the stage for what’s good for the season. I always look forward to their big drops at the beginning of the seasons… and based on this latest drop, I’m living for all the yellow. Butter yellow has been having a moment for a while, but this season it’s back and better (and a little bolder!) than ever before.
I actually got my colors done last spring (can’t believe it’s almost been a year already!) and while most yellows are not in my “true winter” palette, some are! I’ve found too that if a shade of yellow isn’t completely in line with my palette, I remind myself that it doesn’t actually matter and that I should wear what I want anyway… and if I pair it with a color that is in my palette it works a little better (like paper white or a true navy).
